About John McCarrick

John F. McCarrick is a lawyer and partner in the U.S. law firm White and Williams LLP, representing clients on legal issues involving professional liability and insurance. Prior to practicing law, John taught 7th and 8th graders on the Ft. Belknap Indian Reservation in Montana as a volunteer with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps. In the years since, John has continued to work with the Ft. Belknap community on fundraising and commuity development efforts. Beginning in 1997, John organized and led a 3-year fundraing project to build a community center for the people of Lodge Pole, Montana, a center that continues to be actively used, on a daily basis, by the Lodge Pole Native American community.

John also works with other organizations whose focus is providing education to children, including fundraising and relief missions with Canadian Aid for Chernobyl and Miracle Kids to Belarus in the former Soviet Union.

Working with his clients in the professional liability insurance industry, John founded and co-chairs two annual charity fundraisers, The St. Thomas Charity Classic and the Statesman Dinner, raising money for different charitable causes each year.

John is very excited and enthused about the potential for Grateful Nation to make a real difference in the lives of military families, both as a show of support to our nation’s soldiers and as a way of encouraging the leaders of tomorrow to achieve their potential through college education.
